06.04.2020 – H&C unites with Caroline Moore, Ros Canter and The Pony Club to keep young riders engaged and entertained during the lockdown
London, United Kingdom – April 6th, 2020
Horse & Country TV (H&C), in partnership with The Pony Club, youth performance coach Caroline Moore and eventing world champion Ros Canter, today announced the launch of a new series of training videos, 4 Years to 5*.
Each of the nineteen videos features Caroline working with eventing World Champion Ros Canter on a different aspect of the sport. The videos divide into two main categories; Training to Learn and Training to Compete. The former focus on developing the basic skills with the young horse, whilst the latter are all about building the skills essential for competition.
All of the videos can be watched on demand for free at the H&C website (horseandcountry.tv) or in the free H&C apps. There is a dedicated landing page for the series where visitors can explore further related content from Ros, Caroline and many other top eventers:

Commenting on the series, Caroline Moore said, “Training horses to progress in their education is great fun. These easy to follow exercise videos will help to put some great basics in place, which in turn will create partnership and lots of confidence. They are appropriate for all ages and levels.”
Marcus Capel, Chief Executive of The Pony Club added, “With riding restricted at the moment it’s a great opportunity for our members to learn and absorb new techniques in anticipation of the time when we can all get back in the saddle. We’re delighted to be working with H&C, Caroline and Ros to create something positive at this difficult time.”
For H&C, Director of Content Jonathan Rippon said, “Training and Learning is one of our four core genres along with Sport, Documentary and Entertainment. We’re all looking forward to the day when sport returns but, in the meantime, we’re committed to developing great new material such as 4 Years to 5* to add to the vast library of content available for viewers to our streaming service and on our linear channels.”
Caroline Moore and Marcus Capel will feature in a forthcoming episode of H&C’s new show, “The Check In” where presenter Jenny Rudall catches up with personalities from across the equestrian community. The episode will premiere at 8.30pm on Wednesday 8th April on H&C’s new, completely free, streamed channel, H&C Free, and also on premium channel, H&C Plus. It will also be available to watch on demand at the H&C website or in the free H&C apps.
