Alongside four days of world-class eventing visitors can enjoy browsing the 600-plus shops, selling everything from artisan produce to expensive jewellery and all-manner of equestrian paraphernalia. If you can’t buy it at Burghley it probably doesn’t exist.
Get your tickets early to take advantage of discounted offers. For the first time this year, ticketsfor the Thursday, Friday and Sunday are interchangeable at no extra cost.
Saturday is the event’s most popular day for spectators, with riders tackling Mark Phillips’ cross-country course, largely regarded to be the toughest and biggest in the world.
