Horse rider attacked with bicycle and brick
A Midlothian rider has been knocked from his horse after a cyclist threw a bicycle at him.

The attack took place in Gorebridge in Scotland, when a cyclist, accompanied by a ‘poodle-like’ dog, approached the victim. The attacker threw his bike, causing the rider to fall from his horse.
The suspect then threw a brick at the rider, before fleeing. Police are keen to track down the offender, described as a white man in his 50s. He was wearing a yellow hi-vis cycling jacket, black Lycra bottoms and a white cycling helmet.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, close to the junction between Ladybrae and Barleyknowe Road, should contact Sergeant Michele Lindsay on 101 at Penicuik Police Station.
