About Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping:
The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping is one of the most prestigious sporting event series in the world. The series takes athletes and horses to CHIO Aachen, and the Spruce Meadows Masters. CHI Geneva follows this, and then The Dutch Masters at ´s-Hertogenbosch. The series is over the course of twelve months.
The four Rolex Grand Prix alone offer prize-money totalling 5 million Euros (Aachen 1 Million Euros, Spruce Meadows 2.1 Million Euros, Geneva 1,1 Million Euros, ´s-Hertogenbosch 800.000 Euros). The Grand Slam offers a chance to win huge bonus prizes.
Anyone, who wins three shows in a row, receives 1 million Euros on top of the prize-money of each show. Additionally, if that same rider then continues their success by winning a fourth Major in succession, they will be rewarded with an additional 1 million Euro bonus. When a rider wins two shows in succession, the Grand Slam awards them a bonus of 500,000 Euros. Additionally, if the rider is successful in qualifying for the “Two out of four mode”, but doesn’t claim the victories at two consecutive shows, the bonus totals 250,000 Euros. It is only the rider that counts. It is possible to claim the bonus riding different horses. This system is infinite, it is not limited to a calendar year. It is a never ending story.
