Miley Cyrus broken-hearted after dog’s death

Miley Cyrus has said she is “broken” following the death of her dog, Floyd.

‘Precious baby’

Cyrus was on tour when she heard that the Alaskan Klee Kai (a miniature Husky) had died.

‘I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real, but my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken,” the 21-year-old Tweeted.

Cyrus shared pictures of herself with Floyd, who she got from a rescue centre in 2011.

‘Unbearable’

“I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?” she said.

This is the second time in two years the pop star has lost one of her beloved canine friends, as in 2012 her two-year-old Yorkshire terrier Lila unexpectedly died. She still owns three other rescue dogs – Ziggy, Happy and Mary Jane.

It is unknown what caused Floyd’s death.
