Actor in hospital after falling off horse

Television star Jason Priestley has been taken to hospital with concussion after falling from a horse while filming.

Observation

The 46-year-old star, who made his name as Brandon Walsh in Beverly Hills 90210, was on the set of a new TV series called The Code.

Jason fell off during filming and hit his head, tweeting afterwards, “I got my bell rung pretty good”.

He stayed in hospital for observation, but said he is “on the mend”.

Neurologist

“Because I have a history of concussions, they took me to see a neurologist for an assessment,” the actor tweeted. “He advised I take a few days off as I had suffered a concussion.

“But I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on The Code.”

The Canadian crime show sees Jason playing an ex-hockey player turned private investigator.
