Fox-Pitt reclaims world number one title
William Fox-Pitt has reclaimed his world number one title in the FEI rankings.
Career first
William held the top spot for a year, but was overtaken by Michael Jung last month, who jumped to the top of the FEI World Eventing Rankings for the first time in his career.
Following his win at Badminton Horse Trials, William is now 15-points ahead of the German rider, in second place. The USA’s Boyd Martin is third, with Andrew Nicholson just one point behind him in fourth.
Girls on top
Four female eventers are now in the top 10. Jonelle Price (NZL) is fifth, Ingrid Klimke (GER) is sixth, while Belgium’s Karin Donckers is eighth – and just six points behind Oliver Townend in seventh. Nicola Wilson completes the top 10, behind Jonelle’s husband Tim Price in ninth.
