FEI Nations Cup Eventing 2015 series kicks off
The FEI Nations Cup Eventing 2015 series kicks off this weekend at Fontainebleau (22-22 March).

This season comprises eight competitions, with the first leg in France followed by events in Ireland, Great Britain, Poland, Germany, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Germany won the series last year afterwinning five of the events. Britain, who topped the table in 2013, were close behind them in second place.
Competing at Fontainebleau will be Britain, France, Australia and the Netherlands. The British team for this first leg has been announced as: Nick Gauntlett with either Crown Talisman or El Grado; Flora Harris with Amazing VIII; Izzy Taylor with KBIS Briarlands Matilda; and Francis Whittington with Easy Target.
New faces
“We use the Nations Cup as a development competition, bringing through riders and horses and giving them top level team experience,” said team manager Philip Surl.
“Fontainebleau sees two new faces to the team in Nick and Flora. We are going out to be as competitive as possible; we’ve had success in the series in the past and we hope to continue this going forwards, particularly with a home Europeans looming.”
