If you need some inspiration with your training this winter you won’t want to miss Ros Canter’s new lecture demo, which we are showing on Horse & Country.

4 years to 4*

Called ‘4 years to 4*’, the demo at Hartpury College is aimed at riders of all levels and offers invaluable training tips to help you achieve your eventing goals.

Ros is joined by Caroline Moore, British Eventing national coach to the junior squad and joint owner of Ros’ World Equestrian Games ride Allstar B.

Caroline and Ros reveal the secrets of success when taking a horse from the early stages of training, through to competing at grass routes level and right up to four-star.

Simple but effective

They are also joined by Junior European double silver medallist Heidi Coy.

“We explain the backbones of the system required to produce horses successfully through the levels,” explained Caroline. “Ros and Heidi ride horses they have produced from four-year-olds to championship level and we demonstrate simple, but effective exercises that establish the basics and beyond required for the successful partnership in this demanding sport.”
