Top-rating show All Star Academy returns to Horse & Country with Megan Elphick to present and Mochara as title sponsor
London – April 16th, 2024 – Leading international equestrian sports network Horse & Country (H&C) today announced the return of top-rating reality show, All Star Academy. The new series will be presented by internet sensation Megan Elphick and, following the success of their recent sponsorship of Megan’s Talland Takeover, H&C is delighted to reveal premium equestrian clothing brand Mochara as the title sponsor.
Mochara All Star Academy will feature eight hopeful riders competing for the crown of All Star Champion. As ever, the series will be filmed at The Talland School of Equitation, with Pammy and Charlie Hutton overseeing proceedings. They will be joined by a stellar line up of celebrity riding talent who will coach and cajole the contestants through a series of challenges designed to test their skill, courage and, most importantly, the strength of the relationship with their horse.
Former ASA competitor and high-profile social media personality, Tina Wallace (aka Life on the Left Rein), will also be on hand to cover events backstage and maybe share a tip or two on what it takes to catch the eye of the judges. And, in a change to the show format, all eight competitors will make it through to the last round before four are chosen for the finale, so the tension and drama will last right through to the announcement of the winner.
Keep an eye out for the call for audition videos which will be announced shortly on H&C’s social media. The competition is bound to be hot, so no time like the present to start thinking about your pitch to the producers. The successful applicants will be introduced to the world in a live launch on social media in early September. The series will premiere on H&C’s streaming service, H&C+, this Autumn.
Jonathan Rippon, H&C’s Director of Content, said, “I’m delighted to bring back this hugely popular series. We have some exciting innovations that we’ll be announcing in forthcoming weeks, and we’re thrilled to be working with the dream team of Megan and Mochara again after the success of Megan’s Talland Takeover.”
On behalf of Mochara, founder Tara Keoshgerian said, “We are delighted to be working with the team at Horse & Country and Megan on such an exciting show at a great location. We wish all the applicants lots of luck and can’t wait to follow the journey of the final eight competitors.”
As with all the previous All Star Academy series, Mochara All Star Academy will be produced for H&C by Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes’s company Harkaway Media.
