Ross reigns supreme at the Royal International

Jayne Ross is again a worthy winner at Hickstead, after taking the Supreme Hunter Championship at the Longines Royal International Horse Show.

A clash of champions

Today’s Supreme Hunter Championship class produced an array of previous champions, all contesting for the top prize in Hickstead’s International Arena.

Jayne Ross and the bay mare, Time 2 Reflect, were crowned winners after an effortless display impressed the judges.

As winners of the morning’s lightweight class, Jayne had high hopes for the nine-year-old hunter, who moved gracefully on the All-England jumping course.

Hickstead judges, Lily Cook, Jane Hubbard and Nigel Fuller were quick to name their winner after Time 2 Reflect galloped impressively in front of the grandstand.

Greys impress

Taking reserve Champion with her very own Sundance Boy, was Sofia Scott who had won the middleweight class that morning. The grey gelding gleamed in the Sussex sunshine and a top three placing looked likely.

At just seven-years-of-age, the middleweight hunter looked a class act on the showing scene.
