Very sickly

The local welfare charity also helped load the two unhandled horses, drove them to the Redwings reception centre and helped the vets set up the treatment for the horses.
‘Hooves crossed’

Once at Redwings’ the mare and foal received treatment throughout the night. Staff at the charity say they are “keeping all fingers and hooves crossed he pulls through”.
“We’re very concerned about this young foal and diagnosis for his current condition is underway,” said Nic.
