More than one hundred competitors attended Redwings’ annual horse show this year, held at Topthorn Equestrian Centre in Suffolk.

The show attracted a variety of breeds from all over the country, with some travelling from far and wide.
Entrants took part in more than 50 classes, as the show welcomed coloured cobs, donkeys, veterans and the return of the heavy horse breeds.
Redwings Show organiser Stacey Harvey was delighted with how the day unfolded.
“Now in its seventh year, the 2016 Redwings Show was one of our best yet – a sentiment felt by everyone involved in its organisation and those who attended,” she said.
Supreme Champion
Stephanie Turner and her coloured horse, Doylan Precious Gift, were the 2016 Supreme Champions; the pair were also victorious in the Ridden Coloured, Ridden Part Bred and the Ring One Championship.
“It really shows that all the preparation is worth it. It’s so pleasing for everyone who has worked so hard,” said Stephanie.
“It’s been a lovely event, we like to come and support these shows if we can. Everything has been run so well,” she added.
Crowning the Supreme Champion proved quite a challenge for the judges, with a range of talented horses including donkeys contesting for the title.
