Beautiful bay gelding Obi seeks a forever home
Obi has joined World Horse Welfare’s rehoming scheme and is looking for a permanent new home as a companion.
A former racehorse and standing at 16.3hh, Obi is a gentle giant and has become a favourite at the charity’s Hall Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
The seven-year-old gelding came to the Norfolk site as part of a scheme with Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) to help venerable ex-racehorses through their rehabilitation.
Since his friend Freddie left the Norfolk site to go to a new home, Obi has been feeling lonely and is in need of a loving new home.
“He is very well mannered when handled and can be sensitive so would suit a quiet home where he can relax and enjoy being loved and cared for. Obi has had a difficult start to life and deserves nothing more than to find his forever home” said Obi’s groom and leader of the RoR scheme, Emma Sawyers.
